This ‘chopped ball’ shape pot works wonderfully for darker oolongs, black tea (called red tea in Chinese), and Pu-Erh (although we think it’s a bit large to use for Pu-Erh). Its spherical shape makes it work better for rolled teas to unfurl as opposed to twisted teas. It pours very smoothly at a pleasing angle.
